Thornton Steel has a core group of experienced steel detailers. This dedicated team offers extensive expertise and versatile capabilities. Our detailers embrace Thornton Steel’s philosophy of being truly committed to the highest quality of work, exceptional customer service, and maintaining schedules on time, with the ultimate goal of completing projects on time and under budget.

Quality control in detailing is reinforced by ensuring all detailers are continually trained in the latest technologies, software, and codes (A.I.S.C, A.W.S, A.S.T.M, etc.). All our detailers are fully integrated with Building Information Modeling (BIM) systems.

Our detailers utilize the latest and most advanced 3D detailing software (SDS/2 and TEKLA) to produce the most accurate and up-to-date drawings.
