Our Services Posted on September 11th, 2015 by RWM Admin Over the past 70+ years Thornton Steel has developed strong partnerships with a core group of Steel Erectors. Our Steel Erectors vary from AISC Certified to Non-AISC Certified, Union to Non-Union depending upon the specific project requirements. All our erectors utilize the latest safety procedures and equipment to complete the project, and have the ability to accelerate schedule when needed while maintaining the highest of quality of workmanship. Thornton Steel Project Managers coordinate closely with our Steel Erector and customer to help develop the most successful flow of erection to maximize project production and success. Early and often onsite coordination with PM, Steel Erector and customer are essential for a productive and efficient jobsite to discuss crane paths, shipping logistics, etc. Steel Erectors on-site superintendent works closely with our PM for all day to day communications to minimize the communication required from the customer.
